Dr T's EggPlanet Burger AKA MushPlant Burger AKA Earth Ground Round Burger AKA The Earth Burger
- 1 or 2 Chinese Eggplant (These Eggplants are long, slender and violet.)
- 2 to 4 Portabellas (depending on the size of the Mushrooms)
- 1 Tomato (preferably vine-ripened organic)
- 1 or 2 Green Onions
- 3 or 4 Garlic Cloves or 2 tbsp. of Garlic Powder
- 3 tbsp. of Shoyu Soy Sauce or Bragg's Liquid Aminos
- 1 tbsp. of Maple Syrup
- 1 or 2 tbsp. of Olive Oil or your choice of Flavor Oil
- 1/2 of Bell Pepper (Green, Red or Yellow)
- 1 fresh Basil Leaf or 1 tsp. or ground basil
- 1 tsp. of Paprika
- 1 Hot Pepper (optional, preferably Anaheim, Red or Green Jalapeno)
- 1/3 to 3/4 cup of Purified Water
Blend all ingredients together with the exception of the water. If the blender or food processor blends all ingredients well without leaving big chunks you will not need to add any water. However, if your blender or processor needs a little help add a little water at a time until all is blended into small pieces. Warm up a skillet with cold pressed olive or coconut oil and add the burger mixture from the processor into the skillet. Form the pattie shape in the skillet with a spatula. Cook for about 3 to 7 minutes on each side (depending on your taste preference). Add any spice you like (be creative). Warm some sprouted buns. Spread some Vegenaise (or favorite spread) onto the warm buns. Add the burger to the bun. It may need some help in forming a pattie on the burger (which you can do simply, by manipulating the mixture with a spatula). Add a slice of tomato, some sprouts, romaine lettuce, some black olives, Follow Your Heart Vegan Cheeze, tomato, mustard, etc. Bon Apetite!
